Outsourced Bookkeeping and Accounting Support for Australian Practices

Xero and MYOB bookkeeping, BAS-ready reconciliations and monthly reporting for Australian accounting practices and businesses, prepared during your afternoon and reviewed before it reaches you.

Who It Is For

Two Kinds of Australian Client

Accounting and bookkeeping practices

Practices that need reliable back-office capacity for client bookkeeping and BAS preparation work, with the registered agent keeping review and lodgement. We work white-label inside your client files.

Growing businesses

Owners who want up-to-date books, clean reconciliations and a monthly management pack, alongside the tax or BAS agent who lodges for them.

What We Take On

Australian Work We Prepare

Work your registered agent can review quickly.

  • Bookkeeping in Xero and MYOB, including bank feed coding and reconciliations
  • GST coding reviews and BAS-ready reconciliations for your agent to review and lodge
  • Payroll input preparation and reconciliation support
  • Accounts payable and receivable processing and aged balance reviews
  • Month-end close, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Monthly management reports, cash-flow summaries and budget-versus-actual commentary
  • Year-end workpapers and schedules for your accountant
  • Clean-up and catch-up of overdue files

How It Fits

How We Fit an Australian Workflow

Our working day overlaps with your afternoon on the east coast, so work handed over in the morning is often turned around the same day, with time to talk before you finish.

The Tax Practitioners Board has published guidance on outsourcing and offshoring. It makes clear that the registered tax or BAS agent stays responsible for the services provided, including supervision and the security of client information. We work inside the controls, consents and review process your practice sets.

Professional boundary: SV CFO Plus is not a registered tax or BAS agent. We prepare; lodgement with the ATO and professional sign-off remain with your registered agent.

FAQs

Questions Australian Practices Ask

Do you lodge BAS or tax returns?
No. We prepare reconciliations and BAS-ready workings. Review and lodgement remain with your registered tax or BAS agent.
Which software do you work in?
Mainly Xero and MYOB, plus receipt-capture and approval tools such as Dext and ApprovalMax where your files already use them.
How do you protect client information?
NDAs before any data is shared, individual confidentiality undertakings, work inside your own systems with multi-factor authentication, and no shared logins.
Who reviews the work?
Every deliverable is prepared by the delivery team and reviewed before it leaves us. The founding members include two qualified Chartered Accountants (India). Final professional review and sign-off stay with your own licensed accountant or adviser.
Can we start with a small pilot?
Yes. A short paid pilot, usually one month-end or a defined batch of work, lets you see the output, the documentation and the communication before you agree a term.
How is the work priced?
A monthly fee per dedicated resource, a fixed monthly retainer for a defined scope, or a fixed fee for a defined assignment. We quote after an introductory call and a look at your actual volumes, not from a rate card.
